Compliance Specialist

Alpharetta, GA  ·  $60,000 - $75,000 per year

About this role

Intuites Healthcare Staffing places nurses, allied health professionals and imaging techs with hospitals and health systems across the country. Every one of those placements carries a compliance file, and this role owns it end to end.

You will run credentialing from first contact to start date: verifying licenses and certifications against primary sources, tracking expirations long before they lapse, assembling client-specific onboarding packets, and keeping our files ready for a Joint Commission or client audit on short notice. When a hospital asks for proof at 4pm on a Friday, you are the reason we have it.

You will work directly with recruiters and with the clinicians themselves, so clear and patient communication matters here as much as attention to detail. This is an onsite role at our Alpharetta office, reporting to the Director of Operations. You will own the compliance function rather than a slice of it.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in healthcare credentialing, compliance, or medical staff services
  • Working knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS requirements
  • Hands-on experience with primary source verification, including state boards and OIG/SAM exclusion checks
  • Comfortable managing competing deadlines across a large caseload
  • Strong written communication - you will correspond with clinicians every day
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in a healthcare compliance setting
